Punjab, Haryana, Himachal CMs remember Sushma Swaraj

The Punjab and Haryana Chief Ministers on Wednesday expressed grief over the demise of former External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj.
Shocked to learn of the sudden demise of Swaraj, said Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh.
"I will always remember her as a dynamic and sensitive leader with the ability to empathise with the common people. Will miss her. May your soul rest in peace!" he tweeted.
Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar tweeted: "Smt Sushmaji's last tweet makes my heart heavy. Her love for our nation always showed -- we will all miss her immensely."
In her last tweet, the senior BJP leader thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for scrapping Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir. "Thank you very much. I was waiting to see this day in my lifetime," Swaraj had tweeted.
The Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur also condoled the death of the senior BJP leader and former External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj. He said this was an end of a glorious chapter in Indian politics.
He said: "Sushma Swaraj was a great leader, an astute stateswoman and above all a kind hearted person, loved and respected by all. The nation would always remain indebted for her contribution towards society and the country." IANS
