The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) staged a protest with empty buckets outside Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant's residence, here on Wednesday, demanding immediate restoration of water supply to Panaji and nearby areas.
There has been no piped water supply for several days in the area.
"The government has been making lame excuses, even as people are suffering for several days. It's unacceptable," said AAP's Valmiki Naik who led the protest.
Residents are suffering water shortage scarcity since early Saturday as a landslide washed away two key pipelines to the Opa reservoir in the Ponda sub-district, North Goa. IANS
