UP BJP MLA warns Mamata of Chidambaram-like fate
16-September-2019
Uttar Pradesh BJP MLA Surendra Singh has warned West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee that she would meet a fate similar to that of senior Congress leader P. Chidambaram, if she did not mend her ways.
"She should stop doing politics at the behest of foreign powers and should change the tone and tenor of her statements or else she will end up like Chidambaram," he told reporters in Ballia.
He added that Banerjee should know that bad days were approaching her and she should make amends.
"The manner in which she is speaking up for Bangladeshi migrants, it would be better if she tries her luck to become thr Bangladesh Prime Minister. She is certainly going to lose power in West Bengal because Amit Shah and Yogi Adityanath have reached there to play the role of Lord Ram and Hanuman," he said.
Singh has made controversial statements also in the past including his claim that Muslim men with multiple wives have animal-like tendencies
He has termed journalists as "brokers", doctors as "demons" and said that those who do not chant 'Vande Mataram' have no right to live.IANS
