The police in Pakistan's Punjab province have arrested two persons and seized over 200 kg dead frogs from an auto-rickshaw during a routine check.
Accorsing to a report in the Pakistani media, the police were conducting a routine check of vehicles by placing barricades in the Ravi Bridge area. When they tried to stop an auto-rickshaw, the driver accelerated the vehicle instead of slowing down. But it was blocked.
Two people were in the vehicle with 200 kg dead frogs. During the interrogation, they said they were going to sell them.
According to the police, the accused were in that business for long. But it's not clear for which purpose the frogs were being used.
