Two arrested in Bihar for throwing acid on girl

Two youths have been arrested in Bihar's Gopalganj district for throwing acid on a 16-year-old girl after forcibly entering her house, police said on Thursday.
According to police, the girl, a Class 9 student, sustained serious burn injuries and doctors have referred her to Patna. Her condition is said to be critical.
The incident happened in Usri village on Wednesday night. The youths have been identified as Raja Kumar and Sonu Kumar.
Police Station in-charge of Bankunthpur, Amitesh Kumar, said on Thursday that an FIR has been lodged in the case based on the statement of the victim's mother.
He said a dispute and resisting molestation emerged as the reasons behind the incident, adding the police are looking into the matter.
