Woman hacks father-in-law to death in Jharkhand

A woman hacked her father-in-law to death in Jharkhand's Hazaribagh district, following which she was arrested, police said on Friday.
Dolly Devi, 32, got up late Thursday night, locked her husband and sister-in-law in a room while they were asleep and entered the room of her father-in-law Ganesh Rana, 60, and attacked him with an axe.
A grievously injured Ganesh was taken to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
The accused was married to Ganesh's son Amar eight years ago and the couple has two children.
Police is questioning the woman on the cause of the crime.
