Foggy, cold morning in Delhi on Sunday

It was a cold and foggy morning in the national capital on Sunday with the minimum temperature settling at six degrees Celsius, three notches below the season's average, while the air quality was in the 'moderate' category.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) said the sky will remain clear during the day with expectation of wind blowing on an average speed of 15 to 20 kmph and the maximum temperature is likely to hover around 20 degrees Celsius.
"There was shallow/moderate fog in the morning on Sunday. There would be mainly clear sky with expectation of wind blowing at a speed of 15 to 20 kmph during the day," the MeT office said. The visibility at 8.30 a.m. was 800 metre and the humidity was recorded 100 per cent, 19 notches above the average.
The air quality index was recorded moderate with PM 2.5 pollutants level at 87 and PM 10 pollutants level at 165. Deterioration of the air quality to the lower end of the 'poor' category is forecast for Monday, the SAFAR said.
Saturday's maximum temperature settled at 19.7 degrees Celsius, two notches below the season's average, while the minimum temperature was recorded 5.7 degrees Celsius, two notches below the season's average.IANS
