Two minors raped in Rajasthan in last two days

Two rape cases of minors have been reported here in the state capital and Churu in the last 48 hours.
In the first case reported on Sunday night in Jaipur, a 10-year-old minor was raped by one of the contractors at a wedding venue when she went to attend a family function.
Police officials on Monday evening arrested the culprit and said that one Raju has been arrested for raping the minor who went to washroom. The accused saw her going inside the washroom alone. He chased her and raped her inside and left her inside the toilet bleeding.
Her parents and relatives started looking for her and were surprised to see her in serious condition inside the washroom. She was rushed to a private hospital nearby where doctors recommended her to be shifted to JK Lon.
Police interrogated all stall owners. Forensic team also reached the location and after collecting all vital proves, police zeroed in on Raju.
Officials confirmed that as DJ was installed near washroom so the girl's cries could not be heard.
The second rape case was reported in Churu's Sadulpur police station on Monday night where the accused raped a minor of nine year and tried to kill her by thrashing a stone on her head. He also buried her under bricks and stones considering her to be dead.
The girl, a class III student, on Monday night went to buy some chocolates from nearby store when she was picked up by the accused who took her to a remote area and raped her.
Her family members came out to search her around and heard her cries from a secluded place. She was taken out from under the debris and was rushed to hospital. Police were informed and a case was registered.
One Akram Kazi has been arrested by police on Tuesday and a case rape case has been registered under POCSO Act.
Churu SP Tejaswani Gautam directed for regular hearing in the matter.
