With just 3.44 per cent voter turnout till 10 a.m. on Saturday at Kasturba Nagar constituency in Delhi, voters have slowly started to come out for polling.
The constituency is witnessing an interesting contest between AAP's sitting MLA Madan Lal and Congress candidate Abhishek Dutt, who is also a two-time councillor and is seen as a popular leader for initiatives during his tenure.
The constituency houses a blend of some important regions of south Delhi along with a few villages and some JJ clusters.
While places like Defence Colony and South Extension saw very few people in queues to vote, it was rural areas of Aliganj village where the queues looked longer.
Garhi village also saw a few people in queues to vote.
Meanwhile in Lajpat Nagar-4 which witnessed a majority of its shops being sealed during the sealing drive in 2018, people were seen reaching the poll stations.
Kasturba Nagar has around 1.53 lakh voters, of which 84,928 are males, 68,330 are females and four are transgenders.
