Reports on Chemical & Fertilisers, IT to be tabled in RS

Parliamentary standing committee reports on Chemical and Fertilizers and Information Technology would be laid down in the Rajya Sabha on Friday. The House will also discuss the Demands for Grants (2019-20) pertaining to the Ministry of Railways.
Congress member G.C. Chandrashekhar will lay parliamentary standing committee reports on chemical and fertilisers.
He will lay sixth, seventh and eighth reports on "Demands for Grants 2020-21" of the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilisers of the Ministry.
Nadimul Haque, MP of Rajya Sabha from West Bengal, will present a report of the department-related Parliamentary Standing Committee on Information Technology (2019-20).
He will lay tenth report on action taken by the government on the recommendations of the committee contained in their fiftieth report on 'Progress of Implementation of BharatNet' of the Ministry of Communications; and eleventh report on action taken by the government on the recommendations of the committee contained in their fifty-ninth report on 'Review of National Digital Literacy Mission (NDLM)- Problems and Challenges' of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology.
He will also lay twelfth report on action taken by the government on the observations of the committee contained in their sixtieth report (16th Lok Sabha) on 'Setting up of Post Bank of India as a payments Bank-scope, objectives and framework' of the Ministry of Communications (Department of Posts).
Member Suresh Angadi will make a statement regarding the status of implementation of the recommendations contained in the second report of the Department-related Parliamentary Standing Committee on Railways on Demands for Grants (2019-20) pertaining to the Ministry of Railways. IANS
