Three Indians killed due to coronavirus abroad

Three Indian nationals have died abroad due to novel coronavirus, which originated in Wuhan city of Hubei province in China and has killed over 15,300 people globally so far.
As per official sources, three Indian males, one each in Iran, Egypt and Sweden, had tested positive for Covid-19. However, the Indian national in Sweden, a young male from Tamil Nadu, committed suicide after he found that he had tested positive for the disease, sources said.
The Indian national who passed away in Iran was a 61-year old man from the Union Territory of Ladakh. The man who died in Egypt was 45 years old, sources said.
As many as 276 Indian nationals have tested positive for coronavirus abroad, out of which the majority are in Iran. The Ministry of External Affairs, in response to a question in the Lok Sabha last week, had revealed that 255 Indians in Iran, 12 in the UAE, five in Italy and one each in Hong Kong, Kuwait, Rwanda and Sri Lanka have been infected and are undergoing treatment in their respective locations.
The Indian government has suspended all commercial international flights. IANS
