Homegrown consumer wearable company Noise, founded by brothers Gaurav Khatri and Amit Khatri, has achieved remarkable success, clocking over Rs 2,000 crore in revenue in FY23 with a growth rate of over 100% year-on-year.
Noise maintained its leadership in the smart wearables industry and is aiming to double down further in the next fiscal year.
The company, with 400 employees, is projected to sustain a robust growth momentum of over 70 per cent next year, through a combination of volume and pricing growth.
Over 95 per cent of its production is happening in India.
"Furthermore, Noise was also the first homegrown brand to ship over 3 million made-in-India smartwatches, reaffirming its commitment to leading the country's vision of making India a global manufacturing hub," said the company.
According to latest IDC numbers, Nexxbase (Noise) stood third in overall wearables, growing by 97.3 per cent YoY and 11.9 per cent market share in India.

Noise was at second place in the smartwatch category with 21.6 per cent share, growing by 157.6 per cent YoY.
"Noise Colorfit Icon Buzz, Colorfit Icon 2 and Colorfit Pulse Go Buzz contributed to more than 25 per cent of its shipments," said the IDC report.
The company said it maintained an 80:20 ratio for its online and offline channels nationwide and further aspires to "cultivate strategic alliances that will facilitate broader audience outreach".
Gaurav and Khatri, the co-founders of homegrown consumer wearable company Noise, have shared their journey and vision in a blog post on their website
According to the post, the inception of Noise was driven by the brothers' realization of a significant gap between people's demands and the available offerings in the market.
They aimed to bridge this gap using technology, leading to the birth of Noise.
Initially, their plan was to provide good quality everyday products such as smartphone covers and accessories to the masses.
However, their venture took an exciting turn when they discovered the unexplored category of smartwatches, making Noise one of the pioneering Indian brands in this space.
This success propelled them to explore further and expand into wireless earphones, listening closely to the needs and feedback of their customers.
The launch of the Shots series and subsequent product lines like ColorFit and NoiseFit demonstrated Noise's commitment to providing customized, innovative, and user-friendly smartwatches and audio devices to enhance people's lives.
Looking towards the future, Gaurav Khatri, CEO of Noise, expressed gratitude for the journey thus far and emphasized the company's dedication to bringing the best technology to its customers.
“New goals, new innovations and many new products to match the rapidly-changing world – a promise we are making to ourselves and to all the people who make us,” Gaurav stated.
Amit Khatri, Managing Director, expressed joy in touching people's lives through technology. He extended heartfelt thanks to the "Noisemakers" who have supported and contributed to Noise's success. Khatri acknowledged the love from customers and the dedication of the employees behind the scenes, ensuring that better and bigger things lie ahead. - TWL Bureau with inputs from IANS
