Kaar Tech, Led by Maran Nagarajan, Secures $30 Million Investment from A91 Partners

Digital transformation consulting company, Kaar Tech, has received a $30 million investment from the leading investment firm, A91 Partners.
Founded in 2006 and headquartered in Chennai, KaarTech specialises in SAP and S/4 HANA implementation.
Gautam Mago and Kaushik Anand from A91 Partners will join the board of KaarTech.
“The partnership with A91 will catapult KaarTech into an unprecedented era of expansion, propelling us towards our aspiration of going public, despite our bootstrapped origins,” said Maran Nagarajan, Founder and CEO, KaarTech.
He said that the company aspires to be the partner of choice for customers looking for digital transformation journeys in SAP, Cloud ecosystem customer experience, process automation and data analytics.
The partnership aims to fuel KaarTech’s organic and inorganic growth across existing markets in the Middle East, the European Union and North America.
“We look forward to working closely with them in helping them expand their geographic presence in US and Europe and in their journey towards becoming a publicly-listed company,” said a A91 Partners spokesperson.

KaarTech specialises in IP and digital services in the SAP ecosystem with deep expertise in discrete manufacturing, professional services automation, process manufacturing and consumer packaged goods.
With a team of over 2,000 employees, KaarTech said it has doubled its revenue in the last 24 months.
Maran, the CEO and Chairman of Kaar Tech, had built the million-dollar SaaS consulting firm along with co-founders Ratna, Selva, and George, from scratch.
As for his educational background, Maran is a production engineering graduate from PSG College of Technology in Coimbatore, from the batch of 1994. He also holds a Bachelor of Literature in Tamil from the University of Madras.
Maran has more than 25 years of transformational work experience with multinational corporations such as Greaves, Zubair Group, and AkzoNobel Crompton. His wealth of experience has contributed significantly to his successful entrepreneurship journey.
Furthermore, Maran is a first-generation entrepreneur who works tirelessly to promote entrepreneurship in Tamil Nadu.
He is often invited to speak on the subject at various forums and media outlets throughout the country.
Besides his role at Kaar Tech, Maran holds several important positions - he is a General Council Member of The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE), a Regional Council Member of NASSCOM, and an Angel Investor at Keiretsu Angel Forum Education. - IANS with inputs from TWL Bureau
